CareerLink Has Moved...

The CareerLink has moved! All of us here at PA CareerLink Alle-Kiski are excited about our recent move to our new facility at 1150 5th Avenue in New Kensington. The CareerLink is co-located with Westmoreland Community College and our partnership will only enhance our ability to bring one-stop employment, education, and job-training services to the community of the Alle-Kiski Valley. The purpose of the PA CareerLink is to create a seamless system of service delivery that will enhance access to individual programs' services while focusing on employers.

We strive to be the first choice for employers who seek workers and job seekers, to provide services and support to our customers in a timely, courteous and efficient manner, to adapt to the changing needs of the labor market and employers and to be involved in the development of the emerging workforce in Westmoreland County & Allegheny County. The jobs listed with the PA CareerLink run from entry-level positions through those positions desiring Masters or Doctorate level job seekers. Best of all, our services are free!

We have established a priority of service policy for intensive and training services to ensure that the needs of special populations are adequately served through PA CareerLink including: dislocated workers, displaced homemakers, low-income individuals, public assistance recipients, women, minorities, individuals with multiple barriers to employment (including older individuals, people with limited English-speaking ability, and people with disabilities). The PA CareerLink carries out this directive and ensures these populations are appropriately served.

We endeavor to build, maintain and strengthen the business relationships between and among the county workforce, economic development and employment and training programs by ongoing communication between the public and private sector.
