Private Industry COuncil Promotes Sean Sypolt to Pathways Out of Poverty Project Manager

Tim Yurcisin, president of the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. (PIC), is pleased to announce that Sean Sypolt, has been promoted from Fayette CareerLink® site administrator to Pathways Out of Poverty project manager.
On January 13th, U.S. Department of Labor announced that the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. would be awarded $2,733,719 in federal stimulus dollars to administer the Pathways Out of Poverty program in Fayette County. This program will provide training and placement services to individuals seeking pathways out of poverty and into employment within the energy efficient and renewable energy sectors. The program will integrate basic skills and work-readiness training with occupational skills training, combined with supportive services.
Sean has been employed by the Private Industry Council for over 15 years and brings a wealth of experience to his new position. Throughout his tenure at the Private Industry Council, Sean has demonstrated his ability to effectively supervise program operations to ensure that high quality employment and workforce development services are provided.
In announcing this promotion, Tim Yurcisin, president of PIC, stated "Sean's commitment to the growth of Fayette County has been evident throughout his years of service for the Private Industry Council. His extensive knowledge of the needs of both the employers and dislocated workers of Fayette County and the region, make him an excellent choice for the position."
Sean holds a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education from California University of Pennsylvania, and also completed undergraduate work at Penn State University. He resides in the Belle Vernon area with his family.
