Staff Changes at PIC

Tim Yurcisin, President of the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. (PIC), is pleased to announce that Tina Kemerer has been promoted to PA CareerLink® Westmoreland Employment and Training Supervisor. As the Title 1 Provider for the Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board, PIC provides a variety of Workforce Investment Act (WIA) services through Westmoreland and Fayette County PA CareerLink® one-stop employment and training locations.

Tina has been employed by the PIC for over the past seven years and brings a great deal of experience to her new position. She began working for PIC in September, 2003 as the admissions representative for PIC's post-secondary educational facility, the Education and Technology Institute. From there she transferred to employment specialist at the Westmoreland CareerLink®, a position she held until her recent promotion. In her new capacity she will be responsible for supervising Westmoreland CareerLink® staff to ensure that high quality, customer-oriented employment services are provided.

Prior to employment at PIC, Tina was in the Bank Marketing, Strategic Planning and Product Management industry. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Seton Hill University and has also earned a Global Career Development Facilitator Certificate.

Gerald TothAdditionally, Gerald Toth was recently hired as Building Maintenance Supervisor/Safety Officer for the Private Industry Council. Gerald will be based at PIC's Early Childhood Division headquarters in Uniontown and be responsible for maintaining building and grounds of the corporation as well as providing skills training instruction and supervision to maintenance/janitorial staff and trainees.

Gerald holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from California University of Pennsylvania in Secondary Education and has a widely varied background in industrial and commercial maintenance. Prior to accepting this new position with PIC, Gerald worked at Uniontown Newspapers, Inc. from 1992 to 2009. Gerald resides in South Union Township, Uniontown with his wife, Linda.
