Upcoming Family Literacy Event is, "Trail of Tears"

November 18, 2011

PIC's Adult Education Family Literacy 2011 kick off began with Carnegie Free Library's Director, Casey Sirochman, reading Iris Van Rynbach's "Five Little Pumpkins" and Dianne Ochiltree's, "Sixteen Runaway Pumpkins." After the readings, parents and children danced along to the rhythm during a rhyming activity, and next parents assisted their children as they created 3-dimensional googly eyed pumpkins.
