New Incredible Years Parent Group Training This Fall!

The Private Industry Council is happy to announce that the Fayette County Head Start Center of Excellence program, Social Emotional Early Development Success (SEEDS), will be hosting an Incredible Years Parent Group Training this fall.  This training covers various topics including: child directed play, effective praise, positive discipline, limit-setting, how to handle misbehavior, time-outs, and adult problem solving.

This training is free and childcare is available at no cost.  The start date of the training is September 15, 2011 and will continue each consecutive Thursday for a period of 14 weeks.  Each session is from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and is held at the North Union Head Start building on Coolspring Street.  A light snack and incentives are provided.
