Adult Basic Education
PIC's Adult Basic Education Program concentrates on helping adults set goals and problem solving and it stresses critical thinking in reading and math. The program is designed to review basic reading, math and language skills and prepares students for GED level instruction. It teaches the participants how to manage time, read efficiently, study efficiently, solve problems, take notes and take tests. The program is individualized and is based on long and short term goals and offers individuals a chance to learn beyond basic skills.
