PIC History

The Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. (PIC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been operating employment, education, and training programs in Westmoreland and Fayette counties since 1983. From its inception, PIC has provided services to over 80,000 individuals, assisting youth, adults, dislocated workers, and the economically disadvantaged in attaining educational achievement, supporting their family growth, and obtaining and retaining employment. Initially set up to operate the Federal Jobs Program, PIC has diversified its services to include programs in the areas represented by its three divisions: Early Childhood Development, Education, and Workforce Development.
