 DERRY PROMISES STUDENTS Field Trip Pictures - Penn State Agricultural Sciences Co-Op Extension During the summer, Derry PROMISES students visited the Penn State Agricultural Sciences Co-Op Extension in Greensburg, PA. They learned about various types of plants and trees, and how to care for them. They also were shown the proper way to prune trees and shrubs. A "Shoe Garden" is also on display at the site, as you can see in the pictures, it is a "garden" of brightly painted shoes.
