DERRY PROMISES STUDENTS
Field Trip Pictures - Pennsylvania's Railroad Museum in Altoona, PA


     On April 28, 2005, 20 Derry PROMISES and Computerbuild students visited the Pennsylvania's Railroad Museum in Altoona. The students were given a tour by a wonderful guide named Sue and we all learned several new interesting facts about the railroad's history in Pennsylvania. The students saw a short film about how and why the famous Horseshoe Curve was built. The students traveled the short distance to see the famous Curve up close and personal. Below are pictures of the tour.
