The Health Information Technician Diploma Program will provide the student instruction in the medical insurance field. Comprehensive instruction in medical terminology, billing, coding, insurance procedures, and transcribing patient notes and reports is provided. Career opportunities include medical billing specialists, medical transcriptionist, and medical records secretary with hospitals, physicians, health facilities and clinics. Successful completion of this program leads to a diploma. Successful completion of the 1260 hour, 12 month, program leads to a diploma.
