There are three service areas in Head Start. Each Head Start program must provide basic services within each service area as well as have the flexibility to custom design their efforts to reflect and work to collaboratively with community agencies and organizations. (PIC), sponsored an Open House on Thursday, May 4 at 5:30 at the Masontown Head Start Center, located on River Avenue, Masontown, PA. Head Start of Fayette County is a child development program for pre-school children providing social, educational and other comprehensive services. Families are supported in securing medical, dental and social services with concentrated effort to provide services to children with disabilities. Head Start also provides each center based child with a free nutritious snack and lunch daily.
